Glynwood Games

A big well done to our boys and girls who have competed in the Glynwood games against other local schools. The children have taken part in activities such as: the long jump, 400m and even a relay race. Everyone did brilliantly and one of our teams managed to win first place!

Hockey

Some of our year four, fives and sixes have been to Cardinal Hume taking part in a hockey tournament. The children did really well, utilising all of the skills they have learned in their PE lessons. The boys and girls did well to pass to one another and really impressed us with their dribbling skills. Well done everyone!

Multi-Sports

Children from year two have spent an afternoon taking part in some multi sports at Gateshead Leisure Centre. The boys and girls had lots of fun playing different games, they even got to show off their hockey, football and long jumping skills!

Well done everyone.

Basketball

Some of our year fives and sixes were invited down to Joseph Swan Academy to take part in a basketball tournament. The children have been competing against other schools and have all done really well. The children learnt the importance of dribbling and passing the ball around. This helped the children improve their own basketball skills and could feed this information back to their friends in school. Well done boys and girls!
