Humpty Dumpty

This week, the children in Nursery have been saying the nursery rhyme ‘Humpty Dumpty’.  They have enjoyed doing lots of activities with a Humpty Dumpty theme.

The children enjoyed playing a Humpty Dumpty game where they had to remove bricks from a wall without Humpty Dumpty falling down.  This game required a steady hand and lots of strategic thinking.   The children then counted how many bricks they had removed when the game was over discussing who had the most and least.

The children also learnt how to build a brick wall pattern to make a wall strong.  They also made repeating patterns with bricks to match pattern cards.

The children have enjoyed singing the song and using their computing skills to play the interactive Humpty Dumpty game on the interactive board.
