This week in Year 5, we have been working hard to understand how to use iMovie!
Our Geography work has been based around biomes, which are different parts of the world with different climates, plants and animals.
We worked in groups to research a different biome, with a focus on the Middle East, and pretended to be part of a travel agent, advertising holidays to the different areas! We wrote scripts and decided who would play each role (a botanist for the flora and fauna; a zoologist to talk about the animals; a meteorologist for the climate, and a geographer, who told viewers all about the location, and what to do there!).
We combined our Computing skills with our Geographical understanding (as well as the persuasive techniques we learnt in English!) to create some fantastic travel agent iMovies! We had a great time!
