What a STEMtastic week!

This week the pupils from Harlow Green have taken part in STEM based activities from Nursery through to Year 6.  These activities were all aimed to promote Science, Teachnology, Engineeering and Maths.  It has been wonderful to see creativity, perseverance, problem solving and team work shine through within the pupils.  Some of the activities the children have been involved with are Slime making, paper plane launchers, lego mazes, bee bots, programming, circuit building, maths investigations and many many more.  Moreover, some pupils have been lucky enough to receive visits from the fire brigade, the police – looking at forensics and a kidney scientist.  As part of our curriculum, we aim to encourage our pupils to understand the possibilities for their future and hopefully, being subjected to such experiences, will give them high aspirations.  Well done to all involved!

Keep an eye out for the post showing a trip some Year 6 pupils chose to attend to the Nissan factory.
