Friday 18th November marks the Children in Need Appeal night. To celebrate Pudsey Bear and raise some money all the children, and staff, came into school dressed in their Pudsey Bear attire or accessories.
The school has been covered in yellow and thousands of spots today to show our support towards Children in Need 2022. We spent time during our class assemblies learning about the meaning behind Children in Need and how it originated, completed Pudsey colourings, designed our own headbands and made Pudsey themed biscuits. The children all looked fantastic and had a great fundraising day! During the afternoon, we also took part in a guess the sweets in the jar competition. There were many excellent guesses and three children across school were crowned guessing champions and took home the jar of sweets as their prize. Well done everyone involved!
The children also had a lovely surprise when they went for their lunch. The cooks had baked special Pudsey Bear biscuits and decorated the dining hall with lots of different coloured spots!
Our Harlow Green totalizer is still to be finalised so keep an eye on our social media page for further updates of the amount we raised.
Thank you to everyone for your kind donations and participation in this event – Together we can change young lives!
