Lockerbie Manor Residential – Day 1

After a positive bus journey crossing the border into Scotland, Year 6 arrived at the venue for their residential – Lockerbie Manor.

A quick orientation helped everyone get their bearings which introduced the site that was going to be our home for the next three days.  It was great to see the little pod village where everyone would be sleeping which was very much a ‘glamping’ style.

It was then a day taken up with our first set of activities which included AeroBall, fencing, nightlife and paddle boarding.

In between activities, a hearty meal of lasagna or fish goujons was very welcomed and gave the burst of energy needed.

After a very busy day, there was still fun to be had with everyone being able to spend time with friends in our little pod village where the excitement was still evident but which hopefully leads to some calm and deep sleeping!

(Due to connectivity issues, we are very limited with the photographs we can upload from a specific device.  Please be assured we will add to each post once we get back to school.)
