We are delighted to share that our Reception class has thoroughly enjoyed their first week of school lunches! Each day, the children have been excited to choose from a variety of tasty options, including hot meals, delicious sandwiches, and comforting jacket potatoes. It has been wonderful to watch them confidently carry their own trays as they navigate the lunch hall.
The atmosphere has been filled with laughter and chatter as the children sit with their friends, sharing stories while they savour their meals. Many of them have been adventurous in trying new foods, showcasing their curiosity and eagerness to explore different flavours.
Throughout this week, the children have been making a fantastic effort to use their knives and forks, which is a commendable achievement at this early stage. We are incredibly proud of their progress and the enjoyment they are finding in lunchtime activities. We look forward to many more delightful lunches together in the weeks to come!
