Reception

Wednesday was a very windy day so we decided to make kites. We took them on the school field to fly them. The children had lots of fun trying to keep their kite in the air.  

The children had lots of fun making funny faces with natural resources. We talked about what we would need such as some eyes, a nose, a mouth and some hair. The children’s ideas were fantastic.

This week, the boys and girls have enjoyed sharing their stories and pictures in their summer holiday books. It was great to see what everyone got up to during the summer. Thank you for all of your hard work!

We are so proud of how our Reception children have settled into school. Their first full week has been very busy! We have had fun both indoors and outdoors. The children enjoyed climbing on the adventure playground and exploring the different areas in the classroom.
