A Wonderful First Week in Reception
What a wonderful first week it has been in Reception! The children have settled in so well, and we’ve really enjoyed getting to know each other while learning our new rules and routines.
A big highlight this week was staying for lunch for the very first time. The children did amazingly well carry their own trays, choosing their food, and even trying some new things.
Outside we have also enjoyed playing in the newly refurbished outdoor area.
In the classroom, we’ve spent lots of time playing, talking, and doing fun practical activities together. These help us learn more about what the children already know so that we can plan exciting next steps in their learning journey.
