Exploring colour!
This week, we have enjoyed reading 'The All Together Painting'. Inspired by the story, we explored a variety of colours and had fun mixing them together to see what new colours we can create! The children thoroughly enjoyed creating their first Nursery painting, using different tools and techniques from the book.
We have also been learning to sing 'I Can Sing a Rainbow' and have been exploring the different colours of the rainbow. The children enjoyed identifying colours in their environment and talking about where they could spot them both indoors and outdoors.
Outdoors, we continued our colour exploration in a different way. Using colourful scarves, the children made large circular movements and created their own imaginative colour dances. We had lots of fun moving, creating, and exploring together!
