Presenting our Year 3 dancers

This half term, Year 3 have been developing their dance skills by learning an exciting routine to Rather Be by Jess Glynne.

The children have worked incredibly hard to learn a variety of different dance moves, showing great enthusiasm, confidence and creativity throughout their lessons. They have become fantastic at keeping in time with the music and maintaining the rhythm of an 8-beat count.

Working collaboratively in small groups, the children also had the opportunity to put their creativity to the test by choreographing their very own 8-beat dance sequence to perform at the end of the routine. They demonstrated excellent teamwork, shared ideas and supported one another to create some brilliant dance moves!

We are so proud of the effort, commitment and creativity shown by everyone. The children have made fantastic progress and have thoroughly impressed the Year 3 staff with their dancing.

Well done, Year 3! Keep dancing and shining!
