Things that are special to me!

This week, we have had lots of fun exploring the things that are special to us. We enjoyed reading That’s Not My Teddy! and The Everywhere Bear, which helped us talk about the things that are important to us. We made our very own sandwiches and then sat down to enjoy a teddy bear picnic with our friends and our special items from home.

We have also been getting creative with bear-themed painting and collaging activities, exploring different textures, colours and materials. It has been wonderful to see the children sharing and talking about the things that make them feel happy, safe and loved.

Outside, we enjoyed exploring the Key Stage 1 playground and developing our confidence on the balancing equipment. The children had lots of fun challenging themselves while practising their balance and coordination.
