Year 6 have had great fun celebrating World Book Day. The day started with the children admiring the costumes and sharing books with each other that they would recommend by writing a short synopsis to make it sound exciting. After this, they designed a front cover for ‘The World’s Greatest Book’ for a school competition. The book that inspired the rest of the day’s activities was ‘Can I Build another Me?’ this is an excellent book for children to reflect upon themselves and see the individuality and uniqueness that they have. It was also lovely to see them reading to our Year 2 children and showing a responsible nature, whilst also impressing the staff with some of the excellent comprehension questions they asked.
