As another week of home learning comes to an end, we would like to say how proud we are of you all for working so hard over these past weeks. Seeing your art work, writing and photographs has continued to make us smile this week and we thank you for sending these in. Remember, you can email anything that you’ve done at home to [email protected].
This week, many of you amazed us with the care you have put into the writing task. We have learned new facts about famous celebrities such as Winston Churchill, Florence Nightingale, Jennifer Lawrence and Roald Dahl; we were so pleased to see how well you have been using your year 6 writing skills and these were all beautifully presented. Once again, many of you have been keeping busy in the kitchen with tasty treats such as cookies, muffins and cakes being baked. It has also been nice to see the outdoor activities that you have taken part in: bike rides, gardening and even leaf hunting have been popular this week.
In school, we have been keeping active by taking part in the daily mile as well as our usual P.E lessons. We have discussed our tips for moving into Year 7 and we have also written our own biographies about people who inspire us. Your teachers have enjoyed seeing more of you as you have returned to school over the last two weeks and they are all very impressed by your attitudes, whether you have been working in school, or from home.
We continue to be delighted by your work and we can’t wait to see what next week brings. Keep an eye out for next week’s tasks for writing, grammar, reading and maths and don’t forget that you can also work through some of the ‘Communities’ topic. Well done on another week of hard work. Have a great weekend and stay safe.
