Happy Rosh Hashanah

This week, the children have started to learn about Judaism and some of the fundamental beliefs and festivals. they have looked at why the Jewish New Year is celebrated in September and what this festival involves. After watching a video and making some inferences from photos, the children created a Rosh Hashanah card (with honey and apple on; see if they can explain why) and wrote a message inside to show their knowledge about the things that the person might do to celebrate.
