Year 3 spent an incredibly busy afternoon in our Forest School construction area. Working in teams of their own choice, the children were encouraged not to rush but rather to take some time to peruse the resources. This may give them some inspiration so they could make a plan and perhaps choose a theme to give their build focus.
The confidence and independence the children are now showing in these activities is really impressive and as you can see they are very proud of their work.
- Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most fun.
- Tree decoration.
- The first wall goes up.
- Sometimes taking in the build from a different perspective helps with the design.
- Resting up on a friendly tree after some hard work.
- This sniper bunker was so secretive, you had to enter through a tunnel.
- Phew made it to safety.
- This build even had a music section.
- Constant chat hellps the ideas to flow and the design to take shape.
- This minature home had a complete interior design layout that you could see by peering in through the windows.
