Reading is an essential part of Harlow Green’s curriculum and fostering a life-long love of reading within the children is of fundamental importance. Sometimes, we can get bogged down as readers into reading books by the same author and we forget to look at new books that are available. In ‘Reading Corner’, we aim to provide some details of new books that are recommended reads for children.
Fireborn (Age 9-11): A gripping quest in an amazing imaginary world. A must read for those who enjoy twists, turns and imaginary, fantasy characters.
When Cucumber Lost his COOL (Age 4-adult): A laugh out loud rhyming book. I challenge you not to have Kevin’s song stuck in your head by the end!
