In Computing this half term, Year 4 have been learning all about what the internet is; we’ve been looking at servers, networks, routers and websites and then looking at how people create and compose website information and share things online. For the last couple of lessons, we used Chrome Music Lab to create music that could be posted online, and we also looked at how easy it is for information to spread very fast over the internet.
The children wrote some truths and lies and then split them amongst each other in class. Those children then split those again and we swapped them, and then split them again….before we knew it, our truths and lies had spread between all 30 children – some multiple times. Finding where your information had gone was quite alarming!
