This week has seen the start of our art block of work. It all started with learning about primary colours. Every child coloured a red, yellow and blue primary colour wheel. The colouring was so neat! Next the children investigated how they could print with primary colours. They used objects such as sponges, forks, buttons, toy wheels, Duplo and cups to print with. They noticed that sometimes the colours mixed together to make the secondary colours – purple, orange and green. We finished the week by printing with objects that you can roll. The children have had a fantastic time experimenting with primary colours and their art work is both bright and colourful. Take a look!
