Reception children continued to use their map reading skills today to plot out sounds that they heard on the listening walk. They are becoming much more familiar with the layout of the grounds and the landmarks that help them orientate themselves.
Principle 1: Forest School is a long-term process of frequent and regular sessions in a woodland or natural environment, rather than a one-off visit. Planning, adaptation, observations and reviewing are integral elements of Forest School.

- Checking in with the hens who are currently in their own lockdown.
- Finally a sound map of the afternoon.
