Today Reception revisited an activity from back in September, create a house for our Forest School Squirrel. It was really interesting to see how much their building skills have improved, moving with confidence and choosing all sorts of different materials.
Then some of the children went to work with Karen, one of our Grand-parent helpers, to get the poly tunnel ready for planting. they did a fantastic job.
Principle 2: Forest School takes place in a woodland or natural wooded environment to support the development of a relationship between the learner and the natural world.
