With lighter nights, I’m finding even more time to read at the minute and am loving the range of new books that are available in bookshops at the moment. For anybody who hasn’t ever been, Seven Stories in Newcastle is now free entry and it is a magical world of books and stories that can provide hours of fun for children and adults alike.
This week’s reading recommendations come from a reading course that I attended and I thought they were both lovely books to read in the summer.
Super Silly Museums (Age 3+) A fun, fold out pafge book that allows children to explore eight amazing (and slightly crazy) museums.
Carnival of the Lost (Age 8+) A wonderfully murky, carnivalesque world of intrigue, unexpected friendships and mysteries solved. The black and white illustrations in this book are truly spectacular.
