This week we have continued our topic learning under the theme “Little Bear and Me”. We started off the week by listening to a story called ‘Kipper’s Birthday’ and making, decorating and eating birthday cakes for Kipper by following a recipe. We had lots of fun wrapping presents, playing party games such as birthday corners, musical statues and pass the parcel and free style dancing. In small groups, the children have also focused on making party hats and birthday cards and made marks on party invitations and card inserts. In mathematics, the children enjoyed matching balloons, birthday cakes, party invitations and buntings.
