Children have been completing new Star Reader tests in Accelerated Reader, which gives them a new level and can give access to new books. It has been excellent to see the care with which the children have approached these online quizzes and the excellent progress that many of the children have made. We continue to emphasise to the children the importance of reading at homw – both for pleasure and completing Reading Plus to aid fluency. It is amazing the difference 10-15 minutes of reading a day can make. And don’t just take my word for it – watch this short video to see more.
