This week Year One have been learning about the life cycle of a frog. The children started their learning journey by watching a video of a real life frog grow. The children were amazed at the different growing stages of a frog – frogspawn, tadpole, froglet and frog. The pupils created a frog mobile which shows each stage of the life cycle. They had to cut and stick the pictures in the correct order as well as adding a label. After adding the pictures and labels, the children coloured in the frog’s head. Finally, the children had to fold the arms and legs. They found this quite tricky! The children really enjoyed completing this activity and presenting their mobiles to the rest of the class.
