All of the children in Year One have made an amazing start to their new class.
This week, we introduced our class English reader ‘Tyrannosaurus Drip’. We started by going on a dinosaur hunt. We even sang a song
We’re going on a dinosaur hunt
We’re going to catch a big one
What a beautiful day
We’re not scared.
The children found lots of dinosaurs around the school grounds. We compared their features. Some of them had frills whilst others had plates and spikes along their back. Later, the teachers read the story. Every pupil made a headband and pretended to be either a T-Rex or a duckbill dinosaur whilst they acted out the story. We had some ferocious dinosaurs!
