Over the last two weeks, Year 4 have been looking at Christianity and the miracles of Jesus, along with pilgrimages to sites where miracles are alleged to have taken place.
We also looked at some modern day miracles to debate whether we thought they really do exist. The children always find this topic fascinating and get really engaged in the discussions and debates, along with helping them understand how faith impacts on a followers’ lifestyle, beliefs and behaviours.
Here we are understanding more about Saint Bernadette and the miracles that took place in Lourdes, France – which is now a destination for millions of pilgrims every year.
