This week we have posted our letters to Santa!
We started our week reading a story about a little girl who wrote a letter to Santa and was hoping for a reply. We decided to write our own letters and thought about the things we might like Santa to bring us on Christmas Eve. The children tried hard to write their own name, using marks to give their meanings. They then drew pictures of the presents they would like Santa to bring. On Friday we found a letter from our Nursery elves, Jingle and Elfie, to say we had to go on a postbox hunt around school to find Santa’s special post box that they had brought from the North Pole. We walked everywhere! Finally we found the post box and were able to post of special letters. Fingers crossed we get a reply back!
