After a long half-term, Year 6 have enjoyed the final week of 2023 which has been full of festive activities and crafts. There has been the traditional Christmas party; making cards and calendars and decorating a bauble for the Christmas tree.
It has been lovely to see the children being able to just have fun and be children – the enjoyment and competitiveness of a game of ‘Pass the Parcel’ was truly a sight to behold! We hope that you love the cards and calendars and treasure them as they are probably the final ones the children will hand-make in school.
As a Year 6 team, we would just like to say what a pleasure it has been to teach the children during this first term and how hard they have worked. We know that sometimes the level of work in Year 6 can be difficult, but all we ever ask is for the children to try their hardest and they have certainly done this over these first few weeks.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing the children in 2024 for their final year at Harlow Green.
