This week, in Science, we have looked at the human development from birth to old age.
We started the week by looking at the seven stages of development (prenatal, baby, child, adolescent, early adulthood, middle adulthood and old age) and investigated the different way your body and mind develops at each stage.
We then focused on looking at the development of babies from birth to 1 year old. We investigated the different development babies go through then we looked at how they grow and how their weight changes throughout the first year of life. We compared the differences between boys and girls weights and plotted them on a line graph.
To finish the week, we look at the physical, cognitive, language, social and emotion development human go through from birth to 12 year old. We investigated different scenarios and decided at which stage each one would occur and which development type is related to.
