Working with the very talented ceramicist Lindsey Grieves, the children and residents helped each other to create some toadstools for the garden. They also decided to document the session by introducing the residents to art of photo-bombing. Vera, Elizabeth and Tom had a hoot at the making table and Flo didn’t escape either, despite sitting in the comfy chairs. It is beautiful to see these relationships flourish, Elizabeth has been welcomed to the weekly sessions and is very excited at the prospect of coming to school for a visit.
The toadstools are to be placed in the gardens both at Angel Court and at school. Meanwhile their pots made last week will be drying out ready for firing before decoration can begin.
