Since Christmas, the choir have not stopped – rehearsing for two major projects.
Firstly, they’ve learned 10 songs for the Spring Sing performance at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Gateshead. They had a great time singing on the stage with other schools in front of a large audience and in such a prestigious venue!
Alongside this performance, they also began learning a new song for a secret project. The children worked tirelessly to perfect the lyrics and pitch of the song and were ecstatic when they found out they would be recording it at an actual recording studio!!
Last week, the children went to The Sound Room in Gateshead to perform and record the final product in an actual studio. The children were able to sing the song and then had the chance to listen back and edit parts that they thought could be improved. It was all very showbusiness! Although they were nervous, everyone had a great time and we can’t wait to hear Harlow Green’s debut single…..coming very soon!
