Lockerbie Manor Residential – Day 3

The final day of the Year 6 residential came far too quickly, but was still a great day for all.

The day began with everyone having to pack, which is clearly much more difficult at the end of a break away than before!  However, after a little preparation the night before, the children were fantastic at sorting everything out and ensuring they could concentrate on the morning’s activities.

The sessions consisted of groups completing the activities that had not yet attempted.  There was more climbing, axe throwing, aeroball, and forest work for everyone to enjoy.

Before leaving, there was a final lunch and chance to talk about the brilliant experience the residential had been.  The staff have talked a lot over the last three days about how amazing the children had been and how proud they and their families should be of them!

Well done Year 6, what an adventure!

I have loved seeing all the photos of the kids having such a great time. Thank you to everyone who organised the residential and the teachers who took such good care of them while they were there and gave them an experience to remember.
