The new term has seen the start of the school Tennis Clubs once again, with the Year 4 programme getting into full swing this half term.
Mr Malik’s club is always popular but only 8 children – 4 boys and 4 girls – can be part of the team and so names had to be pulled from a hat!
After two sessions, the children have already made great progress and have been hitting forehands and backhands with increasing confidence.
Over the year, there will be lots to learn and practice, in preparation for the summer competition where we want to continue with our consistent success rate at the Gateshead event.
However, all the children are focusing on trying their best and improving, whilst be a positive part of a team.
