This morning, some of our KS2 children took part in a multi-sport festival which was held at Gateshead Stadium.
The children took part in a wide range of activities involving Football, Curling, Boccia, and Volleyball as well as a few other sports. Our team participated in every activity with such enthusiasm and made sure they tried their best. They were also very supportive of one another and worked really well as a team.
At the end of the festival there was a presentation and each school received a certificate for taking part. However, there was a special award announced for the school that demonstrated great teamwork throughout the festival. Which school was it awarded to? Harlow Green, of course!
This is a brilliant achievement and fantastic recognition for everyone’s positive attitude.
