Christingle Workshop

In our RE lessons, the children have been learning about Advent.  They welcomed Reverend Dani and Reverend Elaine into school from St Ninian’s Church, who spoke to them about their jobs within the local community.  The Reverends taught the children a song about Christingles and then they explained the symbolism of each part of the Christingle.  Later, the pupils enjoyed making their own Christingle using an orange, red ribbon, a candle, cocktail sticks and raisins.
