This week Nursery have been creating their Christmas cards to send to their families at the end of term.
We started our week watching ‘My First Festival – Christmas’ to find out all about Christmas and why we celebrate it. We enjoyed learning about the Nativity story and how this looked similar to the Nativity story we will be performing in a few weeks. We then decided to make our cards that we will be sending home to our families. We used our developed knowledge of cutting and sticking to add different sequins and shapes onto our circle bauble shapes. We then spent time using our fine motor skills to write the inserts for our cards. We tried hard to mark make our names, thinking about the letters and their formation.
