Today, the Year 5 and 6 children have performed their Christmas Carol Concert for the parents – with one showing in the morning and another at the end of the day.
Over the last couple of weeks, the children have been working hard to learn their lines, rehearse solo and group singing parts and practise poems. They have discussed the true meaning of Christmas and have enjoyed learning some traditional carols – although there was a last minute request for Feliz Navidad to be included at the end.
Although on the day, there were some nerves, the collective effort from the children and staff ensured that they put on a show that left the parents, carers and friends in festive spirit and ready for the hustle and bustle of the next couple of weeks. From Upper Key Stage Two staff and pupils, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
