Learning about digitally manipulated images from both a technical side but also an online safety perspective is more important than ever. In Computing this half term, the children have been learning about how images you see online are often not actually what they originally were!
Digital enhancements are often added, along with complete manipulations of images that can make the final product very different to what it started out as. The children have used the iPads and Paint.net to take photographs, change the mood and colours within a picture and use various editing tools to change the actual content of a picture. Using lasso tools, clone tools and duplicate, they have changed the heads, pictures and content of images.
