Fantastic Gymnastics

This term,  Nursery  are looking at the sport of gymnastics!

We have started a new unit of work for PE, called Jumping Jacks. We will be looking at lots of different ways of travelling, moving and jumping to become fantastic gymnasts.
This week we started by doing some mat work which focused on different types of jumps. We learnt 5 different ways of jumping: star jump, tuck jump, straight jump, bunny hop, and a froggy jump. We all tried really hard to work on the different types of jumps and are looking forward to practicing these more throughout this term.
