This week Nursery have been learning about the festival of Lunar New Year.
We have enjoyed learning all about the lunar festival and how it is celebrated around the world. We had lots of fun taking part in different crafts and activities within the classroom such as; making red lanterns with out scissor skills making playdough dragons and role playing in the home corner to create a Chinese restaurant.
As part of topic this week, we took part in a food tasting session to try a range of different Chinese food flavours. We tried; vegetable spring rolls, prawn crackers, noodles, sweet chilli sauce and hoisin sauce. We all then decided if we liked the taste or we did not like the taste using a recording sheet.
