Terrific Transport

Nursery have been learning all about modes of transport this week.

We have learnt that a mode of transport is the way in which people and/or goods can be moved from A  to B. We enjoyed watching a Hey Duggee song, from CBeebies, all about different types of transport and recalling transport we had been on ourselves in circle time discussions.

We spent time in topic completing a transport survey in our local area to see which different modes of transport travel along the road past our Nursery. We had a checklist of things to look our for and we saw; cars, buses, a motorbike, bikes, pushchairs, an aeroplane, a police van, an ambulance, lorries and vans, bin wagons, taxis, and a crane! We couldn’t believe how many different transport vehicles passed our Nursery.
