Ball and racket skills

In PE the boys and girls have been developing their ball and racket skills.  To begin, they worked with a partner to roll a small ball, taking care to bend their legs and trying not to let the ball bounce.  They also practiced their throwing and catching skills, using an under arm motion and trying hard to keep their eye on the ball.  The children were then given a tennis racket.  It was tricky to balance the ball on it whilst moving around the hall but they were really successful.  The children also enjoyed bouncing the ball on their racket.  This took a great deal of skill and attention.
