As part of Sports Week, Harlow Green children were involved in the Race for Life which allowed them to use their personal fitness to help others who are unwell. Although the children found the running event fun, it was clear that they all understood how this was going to help raise money for a very important charity – Cancer Research UK.
The generosity of families never ceases to amaze. This was evident again when we saw the total amount which has come in at a massive:
£1425 (+£325 in gift aid)
We would like to thank everyone who was able to donate this time. Your contributions will go a long way to supporting those who are working on behalf of people who have been diagnosed with this awful disease.
The Harlow Green community is clearly one that understands its responsibility to help those in need and we should all be proud of our children as they develop their role within this. Thank you for making a difference.
