This Week Year One had an exciting new delivery of a pirate treasure chest filled with amazing new books. These books will be sent home weekly and are intended to be read by an adult to your child. The treasure chest includes a wide variety of books including stories about animals, fables and stories to make you laugh out loud. All of the children were so delighted to look through the books and they can’t wait to take them home and share them with their grown up.
Reading feeds pupils’ imagination and opens up a treasure-house of wonder and joy for curious young minds. I hope that you will have the opportunity to spend some time reading with your children and to enjoy the wonder of these books.
