Imaginative play for Year 2 this week in Forest School. The children decided that the rope lines, created by year 6, would become a laser quest. Can you get across without touching the lines?
Once they’d mastered this, they then challenged each other to get across without touching the ground, no easy task, but they were determined, those that crossed successfully giving others directions. Not all ropes are “safe” so watch out where you step!
Meanwhile some of the boys created a Minecraft adventure, this included swords, shields and a fantastic base that included telescopes to detect any enemies advancing. Fun in the sun developing their ideas into a reality.
Principle 3: Forest School aims to promote the holistic development of all those involved, fostering resilient, confident, independent and creative learners.
