We have had a fantastic time altogether in Nursery this week for the first time and we are extremely proud of all of the children settling into our routine of daily life.
This week we have focused on ‘The Colour Monster’ and ‘The Colour Monster Goes to School’, which led to us talking about what makes us feel happy and sad. This also resulted in the children discussing what our emotions look like, what our bodies do when we feel that way, and practicing colour mixing. The children also discussed how they felt on their first day of Nursery and compared the activities they do in Nursery to what the Colour Monster did on his first day at school.
