Our new PE topic in Nursery for this half term is Ball Skills.
Last week in our PE session, we worked on throwing and catching a beanbag. We worked hard with our partner to make sure we were throwing the beanbag sensibly and that it was travelling in the correct direction. We made sure we had our catching hands ready so that when the beanbag came towards us, we were ready to receive it.
This week, we have been working on controlling the ball around some cones before trying to kick the ball into the net! We tried hard to dribble the ball using small steps so we had full control. It was tricky but we all worked as hard as we could before having a go at shooting the ball into the goals.
We are looking forward to working on our ball skills across the rest of this half term.
