Dragon Hunters

This week, year 4 have been on a hunt for clues about their new English text. The clues were placed around the school field and the children had to follow a map. Although it was a very wet and windy morning, the children were successful in their quest. They found a dragon’s egg, a burning forest, a Viking helmet and a map. Using these clues, the children made lots of excellent predictions about the text, and eventually identified it as How To Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell. They are all very excited to be reading a book about dragons and Vikings!
