Presentation is extremely important and each week, children across the school are rewarded for their presentation, by achieving a place on the ‘Perfect Presentation’ hall of fame.
Throughout school, children work extremely hard to achieve their pen licence. They have to practise their joins and get the sizing and positioning of their letters accurate over a consistent period of time. There is great excitement when Mr Malik appears in a class with the little cards and it is lovely to see the genuine happiness children feel for their peers.
In Year 6, this is taken up a level, with children being able to earn a fountain pen to write in. This is awarded to those children who have outstanding handwriting and presentation and show this across all subjects. This week, the first three fountain pens of 2024-2025 were handed out to three very happy Year 6 children.
